How to fix corrupt police

Edward Snowden @Snowden

“You want to fix policing? Remove their immunity so that they can be sued, and if you win, damages come out of the department’s pension fund instead of from taxpayers. They’ll clean house on their own. Quickly.”

Bud’s comment: This is not to imply that all police or even a significant number of police are corrupt. Rather, this is to say that the notions and legislation to defund police, and to not charge and rapidly release criminals and suspects putting them back on the streets, is wrongly incented.
