The fat lady has sung

I view this as one of the worst days, if not the worst day, in our country’s history.  It represents a demarcation from being a republic to becoming a banana republic.  The fact that Joe Biden won is not the issue, it is how he won that is so disgusting and dangerous.

When Pam and I were in Yugoslavia many years ago we discovered that only good Communists were considered and got the best jobs, best benefits, best everything, which was funded by taxpayers who may or may not have been Communists.  We see this in Hawaii, which has been a Democrat Party controlled state for over 50 years.  Good Democrats get the best government jobs. . .unions support the Democrat Party in exchange for political favors (such as lucrative public service and teacher union contracts) and the rest of the people, most of whom have to work two minimum-wage jobs just to survive, get to pay high taxes to support higher paid government and union workers.  It pays to be a good Democrat and union worker in Hawaii for sure.

This is precisely how the Russian government and the Democrat Party operates.  You are never allowed into the outer or inner circles unless you are a loyal party member who strongly believes in the same values and ideology as the Party elite.  Evidence of this kind of thinking has been around for sometime and is exemplified by the people Biden has picked for his cabinet.  Not only did Biden’s cabinet members have to be good Democrats, they had to swear allegiance to the climate change narrative, a one payer (e.g. government) healthcare) system and the expansion of unions, among other things.  None of these things are good for the country and the average citizen.  Especially the climate change initiative, which cannot be supported by real science and has been proven to be a hoax (read the Climate Miracle if you do not believe me).

So, the Democrat elites and power brokers filter everything and everybody through their ideological filter and as a result many government positions will no longer be filled by the best and the brightest (e.g. a system based on merit) which was Trump’s approach.  The Democrat Party’s methodology has and will continue to result in mediocracy, not meritocracy, and that is bad news for the country.  No country can be mediocre and continue to be great for long.

China, who has publicly stated that their goal is to overtake the US as the dominant world power by 2030, has to be elated by the US presidential election results.  In his 40 plus years of government service, Biden has never been tough on China.  To the contrary.  And most of the GOP members in Congress (Bushites, Rhinos, et. al.) have to be elated as well.  They can now go back to getting handsome salaries, life-long benefits, etc. without having to do anything (Trump was constantly on their ass to do something).  Comfortable riders on the Democrat Party train.  In a way they are more disingenuous than the Democrats because they profess to embrace conservative values, such as smaller government, but in reality they never do.  Their’s is a high-class or low-class scam, depending on how you wish to look at it.

So there you have it.  I do not know about you but I think it is time for me to go back to tending my garden and forget about politics.  Doing so will at least enable me to see the fruits of my labor.  Happy New Year!
