The growth rate of U.S. deaths reported with Corona virus dropped from 153% to 98% in the last seven days (10 April 2020 to 17 April 2020) versus the previous week. As of 17 April 2020 there were 37,154 deaths in the U.S. reported with Corona virus C-19, versus 18,747 last week. The rate of growth of deaths is still almost doubling in 7 days, but the rate of growth has peaked and is now declining. The curve is flattening.

Weekly growth rates:
24 March: 398%.
3 April: 620%
10 April: 153%
17 April: 98%
