“IS ARMED CONFLICT WITH RUSSIA A REAL POSSIBILITY?”

At the link below is the transcript of former NATO supreme commander General Sir Richard Shirreff’s October 19, 2016 talk at the leftist Brookings Institution in Washington. With all due respect, I see a perfect example of confirmation bias by the commander. He hears threats in every word and action by Putin, without considering how US/NATO actions appear to Putin and Russians. Obviously, Shirreff could not imagine that today the US/NATO are the evil empire, or even one of them.

Keep in mind that Democrat U.S. presidents led Americans into both World Wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the Iraq War, and Democrats followed Carter/Clinton/Obama/CFR advisor Brzezinski’s proudly espoused strategy to lure the Soviet Union into invading Afghanistan and followed Brzezinski’s Machiavellian strategy of repeated regime change wars to maintain US/NATO hegemony in the middle east and Russia’s belly, which is underway, shooting, bombing and killing today.

Democrats view the U.S. as an empire, which requires at least one other empire in opposition…as if on on chessboard. It need not be that way. Russia today is not the Soviet Union of WWII or Cold War days. Putin and Russians today have a lot to lose in any war with the west, a lot they have built, which was not there in the post WWII Cold War days. Russia is surrounded by US and NATO bases …but America and Europe are not similarly surrounded by Russian bases…nor would America or NATO allow that.

This is more Democrat hypocrisy and confirmation bias. I can’t help but wonder if this former NATO supreme commander has ever visited modern day Russia or spoken with any of the Russian citizens born since the fall of the Soviet Union??? Continuing wars is what WE will get if Hillary, Democrats, RINOs are elected. It is time to sincerely invite Putin and Russians to take a seat at the capitalists business table. In fact, Russia and the US/NATO today have a real, common enemy, sworn against us to the death, and together we would have a stronger hand against those barbarians at and inside our gates.
