Dear Senator

U.S. Senate
Dear Senator Schatz

Dear Senator,

Please stop the waste of taxpayer dollars on global warming ‘green’ initiatives. There is no justification in science for this expense. Stop the transmission of U.S. funds to the United Nations. It is immoral that you would allow Hawaiians and all Americans to be pushed billions of dollars further in debt due to payments to the United Nations for scientifically invalid claims.

Scholars at the Heritage Foundation recently released a report on the effects of the UN Paris climate protocol which the Obama administration recently signed. Here is a summary of key points for Americans:

Policies adapted from domestic regulations emphasized in the Paris agreement will affect a variety of aspects of the American economy. As a result of the plan, one can expect that by 2035, there will be:

An overall average shortfall of nearly 400,000 jobs;
An average manufacturing shortfall of over 200,000 jobs;
A total income loss of more than $20,000 for a family of four;
An aggregate gross domestic product (GDP) loss of over $2.5 trillion; and
Increases in household electricity expenditures between 13 percent and 20 percent.

You and your staff should watch this short video by Dr. Richard Lindzen, professor emeritus in atmospheric physics at MIT.

Even the scientists at the UN IPCC admit they are unable to predict climate change or climate events, but you, President Obama, John Kerry, and other ideologues are so certain climate change is a problem that you allow the Obama administration to send the UN millions of borrowed dollars and promise the UN hundreds of billions more borrowed dollars, pushing Americans and their children and grandchildren further in debt. Senator, this is immoral.

UN IPCC “The Scientific Basis:”

“In sum, a strategy must recognise what is possible. In climate research and modelling, we should recognise that we are dealing with a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore that the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible. The most we can expect to achieve is the prediction of the probability distribution of the system’s future possible states by the generation of ensembles of model solutions. This reduces climate change to the discernment of significant differences in the statistics of such ensembles. The generation of such model ensembles will require the dedication of greatly increased computer resources and the application of new methods of model diagnosis. Addressing adequately the statistical nature of climate is computationally intensive, but such statistical information is essential.”

“Extreme events are, almost by definition, of particular importance to human society. Consequently, the importance of understanding potential extreme events is first order. The evidence is mixed, and data continue to be lacking to make conclusive cases….”

Senator Schatz, it is past time for you and your staff to wake up and stop this fraud that is being perpetrated on Hawaiians and all Americans.

If you or your staff would like to meet with scientists who understand the facts, then I would be happy to help make those arrangements.

Sincerely,

Clare Livingston Bromley, III
