I have not read the final version of the UN COP21 agreement. I will post a summary when I do.
No matter what the UN agreement says there will be no perceptible or even measurable change in global temperature or atmospheric CO2 concentration resulting from this agreement. That would be impossible under the laws of chemistry and physics. And that is not really the intention of the agreement. They intend nothing less than enslavement under the name of social justice.
The preliminary version of the agreement which I read last week intends to tax or fine countries who do not comply with the agreement. This is intended to provide a permanent source of funding for the UN, not subject to approval at the national level. What I have heard about the final version so far is that the agreement is voluntary. We will see.
It is unlikely that any UN climate agreement would be ratified by the U.S. Senate as it is configured today. However, the climate religion will continue to press its revolution. The environment is their chosen path (i.e. idiomatic dictionary of code words) to implement global social fascism. Obama probably will pay the fees “required” by the UN agreement via an executive agreement. The U.S. Senate probably will allow him to get away with it.
The change we will all feel in our wallets is the unnecessarily high cost of energy due to the global fungibility of oil, gas and coal, commodities which still supply most of the energy to civilization. And second, we will continue to feel the increasing cost of government and compliance with government regulations. Both of these costs are built into the prices of everything we buy. The inevitable result of these excessive costs is a global and national economy which will continue to slow and which will be unable to pay its rapidly accumulating debt.
The debt bubble will burst and there will be a true global crisis. We will all be hurt. No asset will be immune. Every day this fraud continues, the worse the crisis will be. When nations refuse to negotiate the massive debts allowed and socialized by the laws of their country and accumulated by their banks, then there is war. The regime change wars of convenience of the last few decades and today are preliminary battles of global war.
Unbridled hubris is the greatest human failure, bar none, especially the hubris of noblesse oblige elites.
“The ultimate objective of American policy should be benign and visionary: to shape a truly cooperative global community, in keeping with long-range trends and with the fundamental interests of humankind. But in the meantime, it is imperative that no Eurasian challenger emerges, capable of dominating Eurasia and thus also of challenging America. The formulation of a comprehensive and integrated Eurasian geostrategy is therefore the purpose of this book.” Zbigniew Brzezinski Washington, DC. April 1997” http://www.takeoverworld.info/Grand_Chessboard.pdf
Zbigniew Brzezinski was national security adviser to Presidents Carter and Obama and a perennial favorite of academics and elites in the west. He dedicates his book, THE GRAND CHESSBOARD American Primacy and Its – Geostrategic Imperatives to his “students.” (see link above.)
The adoption of Dr. Brzezinski’s strategy by the U.S. government and NATO is responsible for the west’s involvement in most of the death and destruction that has occurred in the last three decades.
We are watching the madness of crowds, like several similar tulip bulb and currency bubbles down through history. Like those bubbles, this one too will continue until it bursts. They intend to destroy capitalism, tax net worth, increase taxes on inheritance, severely limit private property, remove all weapons from the people, and eliminate except for lip service the rights expressed in the Bill or Rights. Sovereignty will be only lip service. This is written in the objectives of leftists in governments outside the U.S. In the U.S. they don’t talk or write about it publicly … yet.
For example, from the Wikipedia page for the German Die Linke Party (Die Linke translates to Left or The Left):
(quote) Ideology
The Left aims for democratic socialism in order to overcome capitalism. As a platform for left politics in the wake of globalization, The Left includes many different factions, ranging from communists to social democrats. In March 2007, during the joint party convention of Left Party and WASG, a document outlining political principles was agreed on. The official program of the party was decided upon by an overwhelming majority at the party conference in October 2011 in Erfurt, Thuringia.
The party’s fiscal policies are based on Keynesian economics, originating from the 1930s when governments responded to the Great Depression. The central bank and government should collaborate with expansionary fiscal and monetary policies in order to ameliorate business cycles, to support economic growth, and to reduce unemployment. Wage rises in the private sector should be determined through the productivity growth, the target inflation rate of the European Central Bank, and master contracts.
The party aims at increasing government spending in the areas of public investments, education, research and development, culture, and infrastructure, as well as increasing taxes for large corporations. It calls for increases in inheritance tax rates and the reinstatement of the individual “net worth” tax. The Left aims at a linear income tax progression, which would reduce the tax burden for lower, while raising the middle and top tax rates. The combating of tax loopholes is a perennial issue, as The Left believes that they primarily benefit people with high incomes.
The financial markets should be subject to heavier government regulation, with the goal, among others, to reduce the speculation of bonds and derivatives. The party wants to strengthen anti-trust laws and empower cooperatives to decentralise the economy. Further economic reforms shall include solidarity and more self-determination for workers, a ban on gas and oil fracking, the rejection of privatization and the introduction of a federal minimum wage,[28] and more generally the overthrow of property and power structures in which, citing Karl Marx’s aphorism, “man is a debased, enslaved, abandoned, despicable essence”.[29]
Foreign policy.
Concerning foreign policy, The Left calls for international disarmament, while ruling out any form of involvement of the Bundeswehr outside of Germany. The party calls for a replacement of NATO with a collective security system including Russia as a member country. German foreign policy should be strictly confined to the goals of civil diplomacy and cooperation, instead of confrontation.
The Left supports further debt cancellations for developing countries and increases in development aid, in collaboration with the United Nations, World Trade Organization, World Bank, and diverse bilateral treaties among countries. The party supports reform of the United Nations as long as it is aimed at a fair balance between developed and developing countries. All American military bases within Germany, and if possible in the European Union, enacted within a binding treaty, shall be dissolved… (unquote)

Of course, as usual, much of the above ideology sounds good even to conservatives and libertarians. That is how propaganda works.
The UN Agenda 21 and Millennium programs (which Obama has already agreed to, was the only legislation Obama brought forward as a Senator, the reason for the Nobel Peace Prize) comply with the leftist ideology above, except that the language is hidden in labyrinthine UN code speak.
It’s not a pretty picture immediately ahead. And I don’t see our children having the will to resist. I would love to be proven wrong.
People will be free again, because that is God’s way.
