Tough love

Obama has been running a drone assassination program for about 7 years, killing innocent people in multiple countries, costing billions of taxpayer dollars. For several years, Obama had his own hit list. In some countries and time periods, more than 90% of the people killed by these Obama drones were innocent non-terrorists. The number of innocent people killed by Obama’s drones is greater than the number of people killed by all of the mass murderers during Obama’s administration. But, instead of reporting on the continuing killing by the Obama administration under Obama’s orders, the sycophant media report on gun violence in America. Here is a tough love question for you: what more evidence do you need to demand removal of the mass murderer in the White House? https://theintercept.com/drone-papers/the-assassination-complex/

“The Bureau of Investigative Journalism, based on extensive research in mid-2011, claims that at least 385 civilians were among the dead, including more than 160 children. In July 2009, Brookings Institution released a report stating that in the United States-led drone attacks in Pakistan, ten civilians died for every militant killed.” quote wikipedia. http://www.brookings.edu/…/07/14-targeted-killings-byman (Note, the Brooking Institution is certainly not part of the “right wing conspiracy.)

“It is simply murder,” says Björn Schiffbauer of the Institute for International Law at the University of Cologne. Legal experts interviewed by Der Spiegel claimed that U.S. personnel could be charged as war criminals by German prosecutors. http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/ramstein-base-in-germany-a-key-center-in-us-drone-war-a-1029279.html

“Creech Air Force Base in Nevada is central to multiple prongs of the U.S. drone war. Personnel stationed at the facility are responsible for drone operations in Afghanistan — which has been on the receiving end of more drone strikes than any country in the world — and Pakistan, where the CIA has conducted a covert air war for the last decade. The agency’s campaign has killed thousands of people, including hundreds of civilians. Some drone missions are operated from other locations, such as Fort Gordon in Georgia and Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico.”  https://theintercept.com/2015/04/17/ramstein/https://theintercept.com/2015/04/17/ramstein/

“Our family are not your enemy. In fact, the people you killed had strongly and publicly opposed al-Qa’ida. Salem was an imam. The Friday before his death, he gave a guest sermon in the Khashamir mosque denouncing al-Qa’ida’s hateful ideology. It was not the first of these sermons, but it was his last.”  https://theintercept.com/2015/04/17/victim-u-s-drone-strike-gets-day-german-court/

In Yemen, Human Rights Watch investigated six selected airstrikes since 2009 and concluded that at least 57 of the 82 people killed were civilians, including a pregnant woman and three children who perished in a September 2012.  In Pakistan, Amnesty International investigated nine suspected U.S. drone strikes that occurred between May 2012 and July 2013 in the territory of North Waziristan.
