Priorities

Priorities: It is far more important to require thorough background checks and vetting of political candidates and bureaucrats than to expand background checks and vetting on gun owners and potential gun owners. It is far more necessary to vet and teach political candidates and bureaucrats their Constitutional responsibilities than it is to teach social sciences and sex education in grade school. It is far more necessary to require potential immigrants to be proficient in the English language and American history than to allow them to vote or drive before they have these proficiencies. It is far more necessary for the NSA/FBI etc to surveil candidates, politicians and bureaucrats than the citizens these people claim to serve. It is far more important that politicians take the time to read, understand and debate laws with their constituents and fellow politicians than it is to pass laws. It is far more important to repair the crumbling foundations of our republic than to presume to repair or replace the regime in any nation.
