On his web site, Dr. Alan Carlin posted his remarks upon acceptance of the Climate Science Whistleblower Award. Carlin tried to fight from within the EPA that EPA “finding” on greenhouse gas emissions, particularly carbon dioxide (CO2), endangers human health and welfare (Endangerment Finding). He thought it was based on bad science. He was promptly muzzled. So much for the most transparent Administration ever. This highly questionable “finding” provides the EPA with the justification to severely regulate power plants, expanding its powers without Congressional action.

Carlin states: “So what started out as a scientific issue concerning a proposed Endangerment Finding has now escalated into a major legal and even Constitutional issue concerning Presidential powers. The President roams the country calling us “flat-earthers” and science-deniers. Perhaps it is time to characterize his behavior as illegal and even dictatorial.”

“I wrote my negative comments on the Endangerment Finding support document because I believed EPA was using bad science and that EPA’s proposed Endangerment Finding would be easier to stop at that stage than later. But it is very encouraging to find that others agree with my decision to do so, which EPA clearly did not. My offending comments to EPA led to my being immediately muzzled at the same time that Obama was spinning his transparency and scientific integrity line.”

According the current EPA director, EPA is unable to deliver the methods and documents used to make its “finding” and she threatens to “get” those who oppose EPA policy. Secret science. This past week, ridiculously, EPA announced in the Federal Register its intention to garnish wages of individuals who break EPA’s religious edicts. I suppose we should expect incantations, crucifixions, alms, and flowing green robes.

In the real world, since satellite measurements started measurements in 1979, the temperature trend is +0.069 ºC per decade between 20º S and 20º N, and this includes the obvious anomaly, i.e. the temperature spike of the El Nino. Although extrapolation is risky, such a trend would result in an increase in temperatures of +0.69 ºC or +1.24 ºF between 20º S and 20º N by 2113. The trend is basically one degree F in one hundred years. Such a temperature increase is hardly cause for alarm and does not justify draconian measures to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Do you still believe that the flood of more than 50,000 illegal immigrant, unaccompanied children is a surprise to the Obama administration?  It was totally planned.  The Obama administration solicited for guides, buses, relocation camps and provided instructions to U.S. Border Patrol agents months before the flood of children across the border began.  The agents coach  the unaccompanied children on exactly what to say to the immigration authorities at their hearing to meet the requirements of U.S. law for U.S. asylum and several different forms of financial aid in the U.S.

The Obama administration negotiated a deal with the President of Mexico to allow unaccompanied children to transit across Mexico to the U.S. border.  Prior to this deal, Mexico’s immigration regulations were much stronger than U.S. regulations.  The children are no longer stopped by Mexican legal authorities but they are robbed, raped and kidnapped along their journey by Mexican gangs and drug syndicates.

What kind of President plans and enables such crimes against children?  This is exactly the same mentality and morality that uses humans as shields against military attacks, force marches thousands of children directly into enemy gunfire, and teaches children to be martyrs.  Do you think it is a coincidence that multiple members of the Muslim Brotherhood work for the Obama administration’s Homeland Security?

Here is the true story of a felon, now jailed, once paid at EPA’s highest level, and his friends at the EPA who designed EPA’s playbook for faking science and regulating the U.S. economy, the same playbook that EPA is using today and approved by the US Supreme Court just last week.

These fraudulent regulations are already increasing your energy costs and hitting poor Americans especially hard, and this pain will accelerate into the future. “The reality is that in 2012, eighty-five coal-fired power plants retired.(377) Five times as much coal-generating capacity is expected to retire in the next six years alone.(378). …”According to the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity, EPA’s draconian policies will force over 330 electric generating units to close or to be retrofitted with expensive conversions. The people impacted by these closures are everyday Americans… the legacy of John Beale lives on at EPA even though the man himself is currently behind bars.”

“William Binney is one of the highest-level whistleblowers to ever emerge from the NSA. He was a leading code-breaker against the Soviet Union during the Cold War but resigned soon after September 11, disgusted by Washington’s move towards mass surveillance.

On 5 July he spoke at a conference in London organised by the Centre for Investigative Journalism and revealed the extent of the surveillance programs unleashed by the Bush and Obama administrations.

“At least 80% of fibre-optic cables globally go via the US”, Binney said. “This is no accident and allows the US to view all communication coming in. At least 80% of all audio calls, not just metadata, are recorded and stored in the US. The NSA lies about what it stores.”

The NSA will soon be able to collect 966 exabytes a year, the total of internet traffic annually. Former Google head Eric Schmidt once argued that the entire amount of knowledge from the beginning of humankind until 2003 amount to only five exabytes.

Binney, who featured in a 2012 short film by Oscar-nominated US film-maker Laura Poitras, described a future where surveillance is ubiquitous and government intrusion unlimited.

“The ultimate goal of the NSA is total population control”, Binney said, “but I’m a little optimistic with some recent Supreme Court decisions, such as law enforcement mostly now needing a warrant before searching a smartphone.”

He praised the revelations and bravery of former NSA contractor Edward Snowden and told me that he had indirect contact with a number of other NSA employees who felt disgusted with the agency’s work.
