Around the Bush Again

One day, it might be interesting to know the vision of which President Bush speaks.  Just for reference.  It appears he wants to merge our interests as Americans with those of other nations and international organizations.  That’s quite a presumption, and one made by our living, former presidents, all of them.  However, in contrast and in fact, their sworn duty was to defend our interests as Americans, not to bargain them away.  They sold us down the stream of impractical visions.

Both former Presidents Bush would tell you that we could not allow Saddam Hussein to do something or other.  We had to go to war against Saddam.  Twice.  How were/are those events good for Americans?  And, while we are at it, let’s have Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton tell us under truth serum: how was the fall of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and his regime good for Americans?  That’s just for starters, as we make our case against world government.

But don’t hold your breath Mr. Shapiro.  You may be the author of that Bush book.

But first, let’s deal with the fact that the Bush family and their CFR ilk have put us in continuous wars, and they have never described any practical vision with the possibility of getting us out of the war loop.  Sorry; that is neither conservative nor Reagan Conservative.  How, for example, are we, as Bush says, to pass down our culture to the next generation, when the policies of our living, former presidents, (e.g. big government solutions to everything, open borders multiculturalism and moral relativity, and non-stop regime change wars) have been actively diluting our culture?  Diluting one’s culture is not conservative.

Bush says they want to support Madison and the rest.  The Monroe doctrine in 1823 made it official U.S. policy and law to thwart European colonialism in the Americas.  Now, for reasons BushObamaClinton and their ilk fail to explain, we are supposed to believe that heavy immigration of non-European cultures is somehow a good thing for American citizens.  And you deem us nativist/anti-immigrant bigots if we don’t accept your belief.  Yet, by U.S. law, European colonialism was and apparently still is a bad thing for Americans.

One man’s bigotry is another man’s principles.  And between them is the path to quagmire, the path your leaders couldn’t abandon until exiting country in helicopters from the rooftop of the embassy, after they blew the country to pieces.  In America, the 50 years prior to 1823 were about expelling colonial powers from the United States of America, including two wars with England.  Most of our founders would have stopped there.  But not our anointed globalists.  The Vietnamese, the Afghanis and the Koreans know a thing or two about expelling colonial powers.  Let’s go fight with them.  After 1823 and the Monroe Doctrine, there were U.S. wars to expel colonial powers from the broader Americas.  Then the entire 20th century was consumed by wars to prevent that takeover of Europe by Germanics and to prevent the takeover of Asia by the Japanese.   But as of today, none of our living, former presidents has tried to prevent the colonization of America by Islam, even though we know, and Islamists say, their intent is  to take over completely, aided by a Saudi-funded boom of mosques and imams all around America.  Worse than silence by our living, former presidents, they have been helping the Saudis.

The Bush clan, and their CFR ilk, persist in pushing internationalism and globalism, you know, the new world order.  For reasons unknown to us, they are unable to adjust their dogmas to the failure of their vision and policies, which is so evident in the European Union today.  EU countries and regions within countries are pushing back against the EU bureaucrats.  They know the EU vision is impractical.  At home in America, we don’t want the third world fear and chaos now rolling into the EU.  But you revel in it, another opportunity for power.  We don’t want them to bring it here and we don’t want America’s brave young military volunteers to bring it home.

There appears to be no substitute for nationalism.  The alternative is irrational, is today’s Venezuela.

So let’s do get on around this Bush.  Stop the rhetoric.  Stop the wars.  Stop destroying our culture and our republic.  Rebuild it and protect it with more than your words.  Try the truth this time.

The Media Are Telling You George W. Bush Attacked Trump. Here’s What They’re Not Telling You.

ByBen Shapiro @benshapiro

October 19, 2017

On Thursday, former President George W. Bush spoke at the “Spirit of Liberty: At Home, In The World” event in New York. There, he delivered a barnburner address taking on the ideologies of both the Left, the “nationalist populist” Right, and the alt-right. Naturally, the press focused solely and exclusively on his attacks on “nationalist populism” (the scare quotes signify that this is not an actual ideology, but a pastiche of attitudes and ideas having little to do with a thoroughgoing philosophy) — Trumpism.

And, to be fair, Bush did excoriate elements of so-called Trumpism.

Bush explicitly and cogently attacked the West’s declining confidence in economic freedom and political democracy, condemning Europe’s “identity crisis,” which he said bred “insolvency, economic stagnation, youth unemployment, anger about immigration, resurgent ethno-nationalism, and deep questions about the meaning and durability of the European Union.”

He seemed to be referring to President Trump when he stated:

We’ve seen nationalism distorted into nativism — forgotten the dynamism that immigration has always brought to America. We see a fading confidence in the value of free markets and international trade — forgetting that conflict, instability, and poverty follow in the wake of protectionism. We have seen the return of isolationist sentiments — forgetting that American security is directly threatened by the chaos and despair of distant places, where threats such as terrorism, infectious disease, criminal gangs and drug trafficking tend to emerge.

But Bush did far more than that.

He led off by recognizing that the populist Lleft and populist Right had both forgotten some basic truths: that “America has encouraged and benefited from the global advance of free markets, from the strength of democratic alliances, and from the advance of free societies.” And he noted that the Left particularly had ignored the lessons of the Cold War: “There are some signs that the intensity of support for democracy itself has waned, especially among the young, who never experienced the galvanizing moral clarity of the Cold War, or never focused on the ruin of entire nations by socialist central planning.”

He explained that the divisions of Americans into tribal classes are quashing the American spirit:

Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication. … We have seen our discourse degraded by casual cruelty. At times, it can seem like the forces pulling us apart are stronger than the forces binding us together. Argument turns too easily into animosity. Disagreement escalates into dehumanization. Too often, we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions — forgetting the image of God we should see in each other.

In the end, Bush stated, all of this was a “combination of weariness, frayed tempers, and forgetfulness.”

Bush’s speech wasn’t perfect. He continued to express the unsupportable idea that “the desire for freedom is not confined to, or owned by, any culture; it is the inborn hope of our humanity.” That is obviously untrue, simply by glancing at either history or contemporary cultures around the world, many of which value purity or equality before freedom.
But Bush reminded Americans that “Freedom is not merely a political menu option, or a foreign policy fad; it should be the defining commitment of our country, and the hope of the world.” Both the nationalist populists and the modern-day Left have ignored that moral reality.

So while the media rush to point out Bush’s opposition to so-called Trumpism, they were willing to ignore his just-as-harsh attacks on Democratic leftism. Bush clearly called for hardening our defenses, including cyberdefense against Russia; he called for renewed American leadership around the world based on principles of freedom; he talked up globalization as both inevitable and desirable in economic terms. Most of all, he talked up education in virtue:

Our identity as a nation — unlike many other nations — is not determined by geography or ethnicity, by soil or blood. Being an American involves the embrace of high ideals and civic responsibility. We become the heirs of Thomas Jefferson by accepting the ideal of human dignity found in the Declaration of Independence. We become the heirs of James Madison by understanding the genius and values of the U.S. Constitution. We become the heirs of Martin Luther King, Jr., by recognizing one another not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. This means that people of every race, religion, and ethnicity can be fully and equally American. It means that bigotry or white supremacy in any form is blasphemy against the American creed. And it means that the very identity of our nation depends on the passing of civic ideals to the next generation.

Bush condemned the media for failures of accuracy and fairness; he condemned religious institutions for abandoning the playing field; he condemned colleges for shutting down free expression.

Bush’s speech, in other words, was a ringing re-emphasized Reagan conservatism. The media ignore that the populist Left has more in common with the populist Right than with Bush’s perspective; they take advantage of the (R) next to Bush’s name to use him as a club against Trump. But Bush stood against both Trumpism and Obamaism; he stood in favor of a founding vision rather than the demagoguery of the moment.

And the media will never bother to headline that little fact. It might remind Americans that traditional conservatism is a better solution than either of the currently ascendant alternatives.

Beating Around the Bush

You of course realize that buried in George W. Bush’s long and boring rhetoric is his point, the point of the globalist elites, that there is no turning back for America, or so they believe, and we have no alternative to their internationalist, globalist economy.  Welcome back to fascism.

I believe Amazon’s (Bezos’) model (free cash flow instead of net income) is the new model for the collectivist new world order. Companies of the globalist/collectivist elite will move away from ownership of private property.  The economy will be debt-financed as various types of lease structures. The city, the state, the federal government or some tax-free corporation or foundation will own the property, the warehouse, the land, the office building, the mine, the airplane, etc. Realizing that citizens and corporations are resisting the higher taxes that are and would be required to finance further growth of government/government control, and, desiring that growth to continue, the oligarchy will finance further growth of government via free cash flow rather than taxable net income.

For example, a football stadium financed by the common citizen’s taxes/bond, owned by a community and leased to the football team. The name of the stadium or the corporate headquarters will be part of an advertising contract, nothing else. We might as well call all of them Big Brother. The corporation will be able to quickly pick up and move on to another jurisdiction that is willing to offer them more, leaving the Detroits and Pittsburgs and their citizens to clean up the mess…and continue paying the taxes and bonds. The same model has been used for Olympic events for decades with a few exceptions (Los Angeles 1984 and Salt Lake City 2002 reported profits.) The citizens of the Olympic city or country are left holding the bag for decades after the event, before and during which the international elites swept the cash flow into secret bank accounts.  Regime change and wars are the hot end of that same stick.

You know, where they go out and bomb people and things.

In short, global collectivists are allowed to game the legal and financial systems to their advantage without regard to the long term interests of the community, though, all the while, their collectivist credo publicly and rhetorically promotes that same community. The laws do not apply to them, as they did not apply to the Clinton Foundation and the Clintons personally benefiting from the sale of U.S. uranium resources to Russia, as they did not apply to Harvey Weinstein in Hollywood, and many other examples. It is a mechanism that enables elites to avoid the traditional, moral, stakeholder responsibility to the communities where they are based, as well as avoiding ownership of private property.  The UN states the case.  Private property is anathema to collectivists. But private property is where the rubber hits the road.  They can walk away from the commons after they have overgrazed it and had their fill, a tragedy left behind and yet another crisis for government bureaucrats to regulate and control.  They need to control the commons, but that would be their downfall.  Because then they would have to pay for it and take responsibility for it.  They never learned the lesson of the failed commons, the tragedy of the commons.  Private property versus the tragedy and failure of the commons.

The globalist elites will make demands and those demands lead to more wars and regime changing.  They are unable to leave us alone and go in peace.

Shrinking climate sensitivity to CO2

In scientific literature, estimates of the sensitivity of the climate to changes in CO2 concentration are shrinking and headed toward zero. “The trajectory for the published estimates of transient climate response (TCR, the average temperature response centered around the time of CO2 doubling) and equilibrium climate sensitivity (ECS, the temperature response upon reaching an equilibrium state after doubling) are shown to be declining from an average of about 3°C earlier in the century to below 2°C and edging towards 1°C for the more recent years.”

“This visual evidence would appear to indicate that past climate model determinations of very high climate sensitivity (4°C, 5°C, 6°C and up) have increasingly been determined to be in error. The anthropogenic influence on the Earth’s surface temperature has likely been significantly exaggerated.”

Humanitarian Hoax of Socialism: reblog

Killing America With Kindness: The left-wing radical socialist Barack Obama opened the doors for the globalist elite by soft-selling socialism to America.

The Humanitarian Hoax is a deliberate and deceitful tactic of presenting a destructive policy as altruistic. The humanitarian huckster presents himself as a compassionate advocate when in fact he is the disguised enemy.

The distinguishing feature of fascism, communism, and Islamism is totalitarian centralized government. All power is vested in a central government and all aspects of life are controlled by its foundational ideology whether secular or religious.

In contrast, the United States is a federal republic that has a power sharing arrangement between its three branches of government. What distinguishes the governing structure of the United States is decentralization of power and the separation of Church and State. The U.S. government was designed by our Founding Fathers to specifically deny totalitarian rule to any political party or particular religion.

The Constitution is the supreme law of the United States and codifies the framework of our government. Interpretation of the Constitution and tensions between the federal government, state governments, and individual rights are integral to American politics and fluctuate according to the political party in power. Government agencies and institutions were designed to function as non-partisan components of the bureaucratic whole.

Probably the greatest source of political tension is the disagreement over the role of government in American life. In totalitarian governments there is no private property. The State owns all means of production and the people are basically employees of the State. There are two classes of people – the ruled and the rulers (masters and slaves). The decentralization of power in America and the individual freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution allowed private ownership of the means of production where people own, operate, and work for private businesses. Private ownership incentivized a strong extremely productive middle class and by WWII the United States of America was the most powerful country in the world. Our enemies were not happy.

It is the existence of private ownership and a strong middle class that provides the greatest defense against totalitarian rule which is precisely why enemies of the United States are determined to destroy the middle class and private ownership of means of production. This is where socialism enters the picture.

Socialism is a soft sell

Socialism is a soft sell. As Ayn Rand famously said “There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism – by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide.”

Ayn Rand also compared socialism and fascism saying, “The difference between [socialism and fascism] is superficial and purely formal, but it is significant psychologically: it brings the authoritarian nature of a planned economy crudely into the open. The main characteristic of socialism (and of communism) is public ownership of the means of production, and, therefore, the abolition of private property. The right to property is the right of use and disposal. Under fascism, men retain the semblance or pretense of private property, but the government holds total power over its use and disposal.”

The humanitarian hucksters selling socialism in America deceitfully market it as the system that empowers the people by providing public ownership of the means of production. They disingenuously insist that the workers own the means of production without mentioning that the State manages the property. The State has the power in socialism – not the individual. Cuba and Venezuela are primetime examples of the outcome.

Fascism, communism/socialism, and Islamism are all totalitarian systems that have been or continue to be enemies of the United States. Theoretically all promise their adherents social justice and income equality provided by their centralized governments. Here is the problem – the application of fascism, communism, socialism, and Islamism exposes them as tyrannical and oppressive for all except the elite ruling class.

So why do people choose the fiction of the promise instead of the reality of the application? Why do people ignore the words of real people who have escaped the tyranny and oppression of totalitarianism?

Left-wing, radical socialist Barack Obama, the quintessential humanitarian huckster

The answer is that centralized governments are an escape from freedom. Their cradle-to-grave care appeals to the most dependent, regressive, and emotional parts of ourselves at the expense of our adult strivings for individual rights freedom and liberty. The government mommy and daddy control the infantalized citizens.

Decentralized governments provide freedom and appeal to the most independent rational adult parts of ourselves. Decentralized governments offer adult independence and freedom but require adult responsibility. The enemies of America did not go quietly into the night after WWII. They were determined to infantalize America and offer cradle-to-grave socialism to destroy the middle class.

America’s enemies understood that the U.S. would have to be defeated from within. They launched a deliberate effort to reverse traditional American strivings for adulthood, freedom, and independence in an effort to infantilize the American public and move the country toward socialism. Cry-bulliies on campus who now require safe spaces to protect themselves from unwelcome ideas are a glaring example of the success of the effort. The infantilized students at UC-Berkeley have similarly declared free speech dead on campus – opposing ideas apparently too threatening to their fragile egos.

Left-wing, radical socialist Barack Obama, the quintessential humanitarian huckster, politicized every American government institution during his two lawless terms. Activist judges, activist lawyers, activist politicians, activist teachers, activist curriculum developers, activist administrators, activist IRS CIA FBI CDC. Activists are not just a bunch of out-of-control college students, they are men and women in positions of power intent on destroying American democracy and replacing it with socialism.

Activists are a broad seemingly disparate genus joined by their activist ideology. The reason they are so dangerous is that they embrace a lawless ends justifies the means mentality. So, now the country is confronted with whole institutions that lawlessly pursue a political agenda that is antithetical to American democracy. The censorship and disabling of accounts on social media is a particularly disturbing phenomenon.

Globalism is the clear and present danger to the United States of America today

In his famous 1961 farewell address President Eisenhower warned America against the “unwarranted influence” of the military-industrial complex. He advised the public to “guard against the grave danger that public policy itself could become the captive of a scientific-technological elite.”

Eisenhower understood how the increasing power of the military-industrial complex could threaten the decentralized power sharing arrangement of the U.S. government. His words echoed the words of English aristocrat Lord Bertrand Russell in his 1952 book The Impact of Science on Society. Eisenhower’s words were a warning, Russell’s words were a promise of the new world order and one-world government.

Both men anticipated the power of the scientific-technological elite. Both could imagine industry (means of production) being consolidated into the hands of fewer multi-national conglomerates. But neither could have imagined the application of science and technology in a digital age of information wars where the manipulating and censoring of information could direct public opinion worldwide and destabilize governments including our own. The Internet and the World Wide Web did not exist in their time.

Neither could have imagined the globalist elite being in control of the means of production AND a weaponized politicized worldwide information industry. Globalism is the clear and present danger to the United States of America today. It is the existential threat of the expanded military-industrial complex capable of creating a worldwide echo chamber that controls public opinion completely.

The left-wing radical socialist Barack Obama opened the doors for the globalist elite by soft-selling socialism to America.

The left-wing radical socialist Barack Obama opened the doors for the globalist elite by soft-selling socialism to America. Globalism requires socialist nations that manage the means of production to be internationalized into their new world order of one-world government.

Eisenhower’s parting hope for America that our democracy “survive for all generations to come, not to become the insolvent phantom of tomorrow” will be dead.

After 241 years of decentralized government and American freedom the world will be returned to the dystopian existence of masters and slaves because a willfully blind American public was seduced by Barack Obama, the quintessential humanitarian huckster, deceitfully promising hope and change for America. The Humanitarian Hoax of Socialism will have succeeded in killing America with “kindness.”

What we bring

“The world is not a ‘global community’ but an arena where nations, non-governmental actors, and businesses engage and compete for advantage,” wrote Trump advisors H.R. McMaster and Gary Cohn in a Wall Street Journal OpEd. “We bring to this forum unmatched military, political, economic, cultural and moral strength. Rather than deny this elemental nature of international affairs, we embrace it.” That is President Trump’s America First doctrine.

The Economist magazine, speaking for the New World Order: “Yet liberal internationalism is now under attack from many sides. Donald Trump’s America First doctrine explicitly repudiates it.”

How to balance the federal budget

Cut most of the Dept of Education.

Cut most of the Dept of Agriculture and all of the support for ethanol fuels and subsidies to farmers.

Cut most of Dept of Energy and EPA.

Cut most of Dept of Transportation.

Repeal Obamacare entirely and aggressively prosecute Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security fraud (which requires Tort reform).

Aggressively prosecute Housing and Urban Development fraud (which requires Tort reform.)

Aggressively reform military /DOD procurement and prosecute fraud. Eliminate “black” or hidden operational budgets for military/DOD/intelligence. (Note in 2001, Sec of Defense Rumsfeld announced $2.3 Trillion was lost/gone missing by the DOD, an amount equal to the entire tax revenue of the USA in that year.)

Eliminate the CIA and NSA and several other clandestine and secret agencies. Merge any necessary functions into a reformed FBI.

Repeal the Administrative Procedures Act, which will remove the regulatory/legislative authority of federal agencies, which was unconstitutionally delegated from the Congress to the Executive branch by the Act, which will reduce the size of the federal bureaucracy and reduce the huge cost of regulatory compliance paid by the private sector.

Private sector job gains by cutting federal budget

Build the border wall, enforce immigration laws on aliens and corporations, and deport illegal aliens immediately when found (saves over $100 billion per year, Robt Recter at Heritage estimates amnesty for illegal aliens “would cost taxpayers at least $2.6 Trillion.” http://www.heritage.org/…/amnesty-will-cost-us… (For example, specifically, in 2010 dollars, the lifetime costs of Social Security benefits alone to beneficiaries of Obama’s amnesty would be about $1.3 trillion.)

Convert most federal agencies into agencies to advise the states, rather than to administer and regulate federal programs.  A member of Congress is responsible for  keeping their constituent’s money at home, not to bring home the bacon from Washington, D.C., much less supranational agencies like the EU.

Outlaw secrecy and spying by the federal government except in confirmed cases of need for national defense.

Open up government controlled lands to free market exploration and development of natural resources, to restore US strategic stockpiles and make US energy independent and an exporter of energy, which will in turn generate license and royalty revenues and tax revenue to the government. Return most federal lands (except military bases) to the states.  The federal government unconstitutionally controls most of the land and resources in the US and the government is generating very little benefit to citizens from this control.

Obama Oil and Gas Leases

Close almost all US military bases overseas and bring home U.S. military people except those protecting US Embassies and Consulates.

Eliminate and outlaw the sale or gift of U.S. weapons, military technology and mercenary armed forces, training, weapons and funding by government, corporations or individuals to other nations except in cases of declared war.

California’s race to the bottom

“From hiring Eric Holder to fight the Trump Administration, to filing lawsuits to stop federal law enforcement, to signing legislation to make California a Sanctuary State, Governor Jerry Brown, Attorney General Xavier Becerra, and the Democrats that run California have focused an enormous amount of taxpayer resources on people who are not California citizens. It would be one thing to do all that if California had no problems of its own. That, of course, is hardly the case.”

“Amidst that social justice crusade for non-Californians, the question must be asked: What is California doing for it citizens?”

“Well, let’s take a look.”

“Failing Education. Recently, student test results were reported by the State. According to the State press release, “California testing went smoothly for 3.2 million total students” – unless, of course, you care about the results. Staggeringly, only “48.56% of students met or exceeded the English language arts/literacy standards . . . [and] In mathematics, 37.56% percent of students met or exceeded standards.”

“Indeed, it is so bad in some school districts that teachers are forced to provide credit of 55% on assignments not turned in by students to prevent those students from failing. California also has permanently eliminated the exit exam that was designed to test whether students knew enough to be graduating.”

“If you assigned a letter grade to those results of school administration in California, wouldn’t that be an F- ?” More here from Forbes:

Tolerance and Apathy

Tolerance and Apathy are the last virtues of a dying society.  If you will not fight to preserve the society that your ancestors have built for you, then your society will fail and will pass away, taken over by another.  Bring the defense back to defend the homeland.  It does not matter who said it.

California’s illegal government actions

California’s Governor Jerry Brown signed multiple laws making California an illegal sanctuary state for illegal aliens, including Senate Bills 54, 29, 68, 156, 257 and Assembly Bills 21, 291, 299, 343, 450, 699. American and especially California citizens now know on which side are California’s politicians and government, and it is not the side of citizens nor the law.

In Los Angeles, 95% of outstanding warrants for homicide were for illegal aliens. Los Angeles city officials revealed their sanctuary legal defense fund has more than $7 million, seven times that of Chicago’s fund. Nationwide, illegal aliens are 3 times as likely to be convicted of murder as members of the general population.  In Florida, 40% of all murder convictions were illegal aliens. At various times, 250,000 illegal aliens were serving murder sentences nationwide. ICE reported that illegal aliens released by Homeland Security during the Obama administration accounted for 64,000 crimes, including assault, kidnapping and homicide. Illegal aliens accounted for nearly 75% of federal drug sentences in 2014.  Yet Washington D.C. has promised to go ‘beyond sanctuary’ city status, using taxpayer funds to actively oppose a crackdown on illegal aliens.

The US Supreme Court upheld key parts of Arizona’s tough immigration law, SB 1070 and in another historic case (Texas vs United States) halted a key Obama administration amnesty of 5 million illegal aliens. Another court case revealed that the Obama administration released 36,000 illegal aliens in 2015 who were previously convicted of homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping and aggravated assault.

Sanctuary policies reward criminality thus encouraging the legal, moral and judicial breakdown of the rule of law in the USA.
