Newly released records from the Department of Justice reveal that multiple top members of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team claim to have “accidentally wiped” data off phones they used during the anti-Trump probe.

But here’s another doozy: The People (of California) v. Efrain Velasco-Palacios. In this unpublished opinion from the Fifth Appellate District, the California Court of Appeal reveals that state prosecutors and California Attorney General Kamala Harris continue to be part of the problem. Kern County prosecutor Robert Murray committed “outrageous government misconduct.” Ms. Harris and her staff defended the indefensible—California State prosecutor Murray flat out falsified a transcript of a defendant’s confession.
Kern County prosecutor Robert Murray added two lines of transcript to “evidence” that the defendant confessed to an even more egregious offense than that with which he had been charged—the already hideous offense of molesting a child. With the two sentences that state’s attorney Murray perjuriously added, Murray was able to threaten charges that carried a term of life in prison.
Capitalizing to the maximum on his outright fabrication, state’s attorney Robert Murray committed his own crime against the defendant at the crucial time when defense counsel was consulting with the defendant on a possible plea.
Prosecutor Murray had ample time and opportunity to correct his lies and his falsification of the transcript, but instead, he let it go until defense counsel had encouraged his client to plead guilty based on this fabricated evidence. Not until after defense counsel requested the original tape recording from which the transcript was made did Mr. Murray admit that he had added the most incriminating statements to the transcript.
When confronted with the defense’s motion to dismiss the indictment for outrageous prosecutorial misconduct, Mr. Murray claimed his own false alteration of the transcript was “in jest,” a “joke” between two lawyers, and harmless to the defendant. Mr. Murray lobbed in another little bombshell for good measure, swearing that defense counsel had said that the defendant’s defense was “not viable.”
Mr. Murray’s actions caused the disqualification of defense counsel, and as one might expect, the defendant did not feel that he could trust his own attorney. Defense counsel had to testify at the hearing, the attorney-client privilege was affected, and new counsel had to be named.
California Judge H.A. Staley got it right. He found that Mr. Murray’s fabrication of “evidence”—falsifying the transcript of a confession during discovery and plea negotiations—was “egregious, outrageous, and . . . shocked the conscience.”
The trial judge saw no laughing matter—and neither should the rest of us. He dismissed the indictment completely, and in a scathing opinion, also quoted by the appellate court, wrote that the prosecutor’s actions “diluted the protections accompanying the right to counsel and ran the risk of fraudulently inducing defendant to enter a plea and forfeit his right to a jury trial.” The court refused to “tolerate such outrageous conduct that results in the depravation of basic fundamental constitutional rights that are designed to provide basic fairness.”

Undaunted by the criminal conduct of a state prosecutor, or the district court’s opinion, Ms. Harris appealed the decision dismissing the indictment. According to the California attorney general, only abject physical brutality would warrant a finding of prosecutorial misconduct and the dismissal of an indictment. Fortunately for all of us—and the Constitution—she lost again.
This is Ms. Harris’ third strike in hardly as many months—and those are only the ones that have come to our attention.
There is the outrageous misconduct by the state court agents and investigators in the Sierra Pacific/Moonlight Fire case that caused a state judge to enter a multi-million judgment against Cal Fire. And only a few weeks ago, Ninth Circuit Judges Kozinski, Fletcher and Wardlaw saw misconduct so egregious that Judge Kozinski raised the specter of a perjury prosecution of the prosecutor during the oral argument. Attorney General Harris had to reverse course on that case, but she did so only after the Ninth Circuit judges made clear that she would not like the opinion that would be forthcoming if she did not correct it herself. In that case, Baca, the state court of appeal saw evidence that the prosecutor himself had committed perjury. If Ms. Harris’ office had its way, it all would have been swept under the rug.
Most Americans thought the laws of perjury and obstruction of justice already applied to prosecutors and are shocked to find out that they rarely suffer any consequence—not even termination—when failing to abide by them. Americans should be shocked. Prosecutors have been given a pass for way too long, and as a result, their conduct has become increasingly egregious. The New York Observer has written about it extensively. Prosecutors are still Licensed to Lie, and it’s high time to revoke those licenses. There is now significant bi-partisan interest in criminal justice reform and a coalition is forming to work toward these much-needed reforms.
As Judge Kozinski wrote, judges could “put a stop it.” The California Court of Appeal decision is good, but it should be formally published, and the court itself should request his disbarment. They designated it unpublished, but you may read the decision here. The voters in California can elect an attorney general who demands that prosecutors follow the law and confesses error when they don’t, and all voters can elect district attorneys who fire prosecutors who don’t follow the law themselves.
The prosecutor’s name in this case is Robert Alan Murray. For reasons beyond comprehension, he still works for the District Attorney Lisa Green in Kern County, Cal.
When will they ever learn? Not as long as they are protected from serious consequences for their own crimes and ethical violations—apparently not until they hear the whistle blowin’ from the other side of the iron.

One path leads to war, and has led to wars for more than 2000 years. This is the path of ideology, human ideas and human reasoning. This European path started and features for example the Hundred Years War, World War I and World War II, the cold blooded murder of some 6 million Jews, and the death during peacetime of some 20 million Russians and nearby ethnic groups at the hands of fellow countrymen to achieve an idea. There are more examples.
The other path follows nature’s laws and morality and leads away from wars. This is the path America was led to by the founders and framers of our republic. We have been off that path most of my lifetime. The path was turned toward the European path by America’s so-called intellectuals. It is long past time to correct our path.
The 2020 US Presidential Election: A Seminal Moment in Western History By Dr. Hanan Shai September 3, 2020 President Donald Trump’s declaration in his Mount Rushmore speech of his intention to defend the traditional values of the United States, and Joe Biden’s declaration (backed by Bernie Sanders) of his intention to bring about a transformation of the United States, indicate that the 2020 elections will not be, as in the past, a democratic contest between two personalities and parties but a fateful contest between cultures: the Hebrew-biblical cultural of freedom from which the Anglo-Saxon democracies derived their values versus the Hellenistic culture of freedom from which the European democracies derived theirs. There is a fundamental difference between the values of the two ancient cultures that formed the crucible of the modern West. The values of the Hebrew-biblical culture were derived from universal logic, the laws of which constitute an absolute and eternal truth, and among which harmony and coherence exists that is designed to foster a similar harmony (social justice) among human beings. The values of the Hellenistic culture, by contrast, were derived from human logic, which asserts that humanity is the standard that determines good and evil, there is no external standard for the moral judgment of human acts, and certain ideas exist that constitute an absolute truth that only elite individuals can discover and impose, by means of “keepers,” on a society that is “chained in a cave.” European liberalism’s reliance on human logic led to the growth of the Jacobin, socialist, communist, and Nazi doctrines, which were foisted on the masses by authoritarian and totalitarian regimes. Conversely, the forefathers of American democracy (Madison, Hamilton, Jefferson, and Franklin)—some of whom, like John Locke and other British thinkers, read and spoke Hebrew—adopted the values of Hebrew-biblical morality as the basis of the values of the United States. The fact that in American democracy not only science but also humanism is based on natural law gave rise to longstanding stability and prosperity, as well as a capability and a principled commitment to volunteer to salvage and rehabilitate the world from the severe calamities wreaked upon it by Europe’s utopian thinkers. Apparently complacent from its victory over Nazism and communism, at the end of the 20th century American democracy failed to identify the danger of another erroneous theory that developed in Europe: post-structuralism (or progressive liberalism). That theory has penetrated deeply into American culture. Among other things, it claims that the calamities of the 20th century were caused by a proliferation of “truths” that emerged in Europe, and that preventing similar calamities in the future entails denying the existence of a single foundational truth and dismantling rational subjects that constitute a source of stability and authority (such as the family, nationalism and the nation-state, gender, the military, the police, and more) while “critically” examining their historical development. This is because the formation and activity of some of these social frameworks were tied to processes, in some instances very far back in history, that involved force and oppression. The murder of George Floyd and the zealous protests that followed revealed three painful facts about American democracy as it stands today: It is suffering severe social disharmony that stems from a longstanding interpretation of the values of freedom and justice that contravenes their original spirit. The domains of humanism and society have been completely taken over by the ideas of progressive liberalism. There is no intellectual elite that can mobilize to defend the values of American democracy against the progressive delusion in the manner of the “conservative” intellectual elite of the previous century that mobilized to defend the country against the communist delusion. Only the reestablishment of American democracy in the spirit of the original values of freedom and justice on which it was based will rehabilitate the American project and afford it further long-term vitality. Conversely, an ideological transformation—i.e., a “Europeanization” of American democracy along the lines that Biden envisages—will put an end to both the successful American project and the democratic framework that saved humanity from the chain of calamities wrought by European liberal thought. This dangerous transformation could also open the door to the next “social project”—whose path to the West is already being paved by China with its “One Belt, One Road” initiative. What is needed is a massive mobilization that ignores contemporary figures and problematic personality traits. Preventing the 2020 elections from becoming a negative seminal moment in the history of Western civilization is a supreme civilizational imperative. This is true for professional sports today.
Sports had a 50+ year run where athletes, owners, sponsors, media, coaches, etc have made fortunes. Today, they jump on the propaganda bandwagon and blame privilege. Kneeling in protest for anything patriotic is their current mantra. Kneeling for centuries has been the symbol of subjugation and feudal service. Bend the knee and kiss the ring or off with your head, said almost every leader including the popes, imams, etc.
Two hundred plus corporations and brands that we all know are on that same bandwagon today. You and I stand against them with our wallets and purses.
This will be disaster for world business franchises. Mainstream news media has watched in horror as their market share evaporates. Simple talk shows have more viewers than scores of million dollar athletes and talking teleprompter readers.
The whole world knows they are liars and hipocrites…thanks to Donald Trump.
And now these lying hipocrits want to elect a career poly-faced hypocrit with glaring mental decline as the leader of the “free world.”
We, the silent majority, know that when and if a global government, a new world order, a Tower of Babel, exists – then there will also be global tyranny and no individual freedom or local sovereignty.
Or, perhaps was it pressure from a large group of doctors in Germany and elsewhere in Europe calling it a “global scam”? And, “We have no killer virus all over the world.”

As long ago as the 1970s, I came to a major realization. While watching fellow students at Columbia University demonstrate not just against the war in Vietnam but against America — “Amerika,” as many spelled it, the “imperialist,” “colonialist,” “mass-murdering” country — I kept wondering what made these people so hostile to the freest country in human history.
Then, one day, as a result of my having attended a yeshiva (an Orthodox Jewish day school) through high school, the reason became clear. Half of each school day was devoted to religious studies in Hebrew, and the other half was devoted to secular studies in English. This meant that I had been immersed in a religious worldview until college.
Though it was Jewish, this worldview could also be called “Judeo-Christian.” Students at traditionally Christian schools were immersed in essentially the same worldview. We were all taught that the most important battle we need to wage in life was with our own nature. Jews and Christians learned from the same Scripture that “the will of man’s heart is evil from his youth” (Genesis 8:21).
Therefore, being a good person involved a constant battle with our flawed human nature: our urges, appetites and innate weaknesses. This battle was also the only real route to a better world. Every individual had to work on him or herself to be decent, strong, courageous and self-controlled, and every parent had to work, first and foremost, on raising such people.
One day, I came to realize that this was not how the vast majority of my fellow students were raised. They were raised to believe that the great battle in life was not with one’s nature but with outside forces — with parents, in many cases, but most of all with society, i.e., America.
All of us, whatever our political outlook, have to confront personal failure, loss, disappointment and unhappiness. When confronted with these challenges, religious Jews and Christians are taught to look inward for both the primary source of their problems and the primary solutions to those problems: What have I done wrong? What can I change in my life to solve my problems?
Of course, some nonreligious liberals and conservatives also have this attitude. But most of them likely inherited it from religious parents or, at the very least, from parents who were raised in a religious home or a home that retained the remnants of such an upbringing, which was common in pre-1960s America. (It is therefore questionable how many secular parents will succeed in passing this attitude on to their children.)
The left, which proudly rejects Judeo-Christian values, has adopted the opposite of the Judeo-Christian view regarding pain in life. Leftists (as opposed to liberals) hold outside forces responsible for their pain. That is the reason for the litany of left-wing enemies: capitalism, patriarchy, misogyny, systemic racism, homophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, sexism, xenophobia.
So, then, if you are an unhappy American woman, you can work on yourself and your nature, or you can blame sexism and patriarchy, i.e., men, for your pained state.
If you are an unhappy gay American, you can work on yourself, or you can blame society’s homophobia for your unhappiness. And, most significantly, if you are an unhappy black American, you can work on yourself and your life, or you can blame systemic racism and whites for your anger and unfulfilled life.
All this explains why the left encourages every group except for white, Christian, heterosexual males to regard themselves as oppressed. The more oppressed women, gays, blacks, etc., see themselves, the more they are alienated from America and its values, and the more they gravitate left. In light of this, I came up with a riddle:
Q: What do you call a happy black person?
A: A Republican.
Without an exception I can recall, over the course of decades, I have guessed the political affiliation of every black caller to my radio show within a minute of talking to them. If they sounded happy, I knew they were a Republican; if they were angry, I knew they were a Democrat. This has held true for male and female callers.
America has been a great country because it was built on the belief that we must all fight against our natures (and fight for our country). It is difficult to overstate the damage the left is doing to this country by abandoning the fundamental Judeo-Christian teaching that we must fight our natures in order to lead a more decent and happy life and replacing it with the belief that we must battle America instead. This replacement inevitably leads to a population of unhappy, ungrateful and mean-spirited human beings — precisely the type of individuals you see rioting and looting, the type of elected officials who do nothing to stop rioters and looters, the columnists and academics who devote their lives to spewing hate-filled lies about America, and the Twitter mobs who comprise the toxic cancel culture.
It will lead to what the left acknowledges it seeks: the end of America as we have known it.

P.S. Probably all of us have slaves or slave owners in out ancestry as well as those who fought and died to rid the world of slavery and slave owners. I have all of the above. But then I am not using identity politics to further my career such as is being done by Kamala and the Democratic Party.
In my opinion, Kamala’s unforgivable acts are her track record in the U.S Senate as a first term Senator and her track record as Attorney General for the State of California. These are not artifacts of ancient history, but actions in the last few years.

As Attorney General, Kamala Harris argued in court that government prosecutors could invent evidence and lie against a defendant in court, and do anything except physically harm the defendant. This is the stuff of tyrants such as Stalin, Hitler, Pinochet, and KGB…and of the FBI, DOJ and presidential administration of Barack Obama. Americans do not want such twisted people in their government.

If you read the transcript of the discussion between CNN correspondent Sciutto and Navarro, it is clear that Navarro is not disparaging Canadian military or even making a statement of any kind about Canadian military.
Navarro asks a two part hypothetical question to contrast and compare the long term military cooperation between Canada – US with the long term Canada – US trade cooperation which is under discussion in the conversation between Sciutto and Navarro.
Don’t fall for the fake narrative Sciutto is using to sell his new book. It is a cheap overused trick used for gaslighting.
