Question: How can so many smart people not see that progressive, social liberalism has never worked for long? These people live a privileged and for the most part protected life. If the Pew Survey is right, it does not bode well for the Republican Party and conservatives. (Hat tip to Larry Bryan.)
Answer: Well, it only bodes negative for the GOP’s future if the GOP leadership continues to reject the constituents who elected them, that is, their constituents. Constituents must continue defeating these RINO politicians until they find a politician who listens and votes for the people.
On the other hand, Democrats and RINOs are eventually found out for their corruptions and they eventually pay the penalties. Easy money and debt are but one of those corruptions. Cronyism at its worse. But do you want to wait and meanwhile to let them bleed you dry and take away all your property and rights?
The answer to the question in the title above is in the question. How is it progressive or socially liberal for about 10% of people to live a privileged and for the most part protected life? The answer is: it is not, absolutely not. What they accept as reality is upside down and wrong. But they have been educated to believe that everything is relative, that there are no rights and wrongs. (This is known as moral equivalence or moral relativity in philosophy.)
The GOP’s job is simple: Explain that to the other 90% of the people.
Ultimately, Democrats and even those in the top 10% of society eventually learn that you cannot pick up a turd and expect that it will not stink and that you won’t get some of that stink on you. They are living a lie and they eventually will come to know their lie when their constituents finally realize that they have been swindled.
The Constitution that forms the backbone of the laws of this Republic cannot be fluid and conformable by the decisions and opinions of a group of lifetime-appointed members of the 10% elite, a group known as the Supreme Court. This is true regardless of your or their political persuasions and sympathies. The fundamental law that is the U.S. Constitution and amendments must be strictly followed. The federal government is not doing that today or really since the Civil War. Before any more laws are written or federal court cases decided, many existing laws must be reformed or repealed until they conform to the Constitution. For example, most of the Administrative Procedures Act of 1946 must be repealed. This law allows Congress to delegate much of its legislative duties to the bureaucracies that are part of the Executive branch. This law is clearly unconstitutional.
An expectation that a federal court, the Supreme Court being one example, will be unbiased in deciding a case which by principles and facts is materially adverse to the federal government is not based in reality or law. The courts are materially and irreversibly encumbered and conflicted if tasked with considering their own role in our constitutional process. Therefore, Congress must agree to submit the problem of containment of the powers and size of the federal government to an Article V Convention of States process.
During the Obama administration, the Clintons have said they were penniless and yet today, in less than 8 years, they are worth more than $100,000,000. How does this happen? And it happens to Senators, Representatives, Presidents and bureaucrats. But the federal government only wants to discuss prosecution of insecure email traffic from the Clinton’s private email server. They will not prosecute that case. It’s meant to distract the public from the real issues.
The people of the United States should know better than to re-elect the crooks that enable this corruption to continue,any of them, regardless the political party of the candidate or the voter.
Posing the question as the GOP military industrial complex versus the Dem green environment sustainability complex is a perfect example of them putting you in a box…a Hegelian dialectic. In either box you pay. Rarely if ever considered is the fact that it is the boxes that must be thrown out and the situation logically re-analyzed. The continuing deadly wars of the Obama administration including those promoted by Hillary Clinton prove the point. It is the class of political elites, the 10%, against the rest of us.
Upside down politics is not liberal or progressive. It is backwards foolishness. Societies in western civilization, including the U.S. and Europe today which believe they are free, are today going backwards. Polls confirm that 70% of Americans think we are headed in the wrong direction. We are regressing rapidly to an earlier stage of social development where there was no private property and no individual sovereignty or God-given rights.

Trillions of dollars have disappeared from the Pentagon budget, the Federal Reserve, the Savings & Loan Scandal, the Enron Scandal, the Mortgage Scandal, the Bernie Madoff Scandal, the dot com collapse, the stock market, retirement accounts, pension funds, government contracts, etc.
And the 1% control 99% of the world’s wealth.
Billionaires prefer to pose in a $1,000 suit rather than save the life of a starving child –
that alone tells you their commitment to truth, to justice and to humanity.
They control the media, the politicians, oil, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, illegal drugs, the military…
and everything else.
