The COVID-19 cart is still in front of the horse

Following up on my previous posts, regarding PCR tests and vaccines for SARS CoV-2 (Covid-19), the cart is still in front of the horse.  Read the CDC document linked below and see for yourself.  Here are a few quotes excerpted from that CDC document dated July, 2020.  I provided the bolding for emphasis:

From the official CDC Covid-19 method document for the PCR Covid-19 test, with revisions (full citation and link below.)

Page 2

“Results are for the identification of 2019-nCoV RNA. The 2019-nCoV RNA is generally detectable in upper and lower respiratory specimens during infection. Positive results are indicative of active infection with 2019-nCoV but do not rule out bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses. The agent detected may not be the definite cause of disease. Laboratories within the United States and its territories are required to report all positive results to the appropriate public health authorities.  Negative results do not preclude 2019-nCoV infection and should not be used as the sole basis for treatment or other patient management decisions. Negative results must be combined with clinical observations, patient history, and epidemiological information.”

Page 39

Detection of viral RNA may not indicate the presence of infectious virus or that 2019-nCoV is the causative agent for clinical symptoms.”

Since no quantified virus isolates of the 2019-nCoV are currently available, assays designed for detection of the 2019-nCoV RNA were tested with characterized stocks of in vitro transcribed full length RNA (N gene; GenBank accession: MN908947.2) of known titer (RNA copies/μL) spiked into a diluent consisting of a suspension of human A549 cells and viral transport medium (VTM) to mimic clinical specimen.”

Bud’s comments:  The PCR test has multiple probes designed insilico (i.e. in a computer) from the GenBank sequence database based on the N gene, not from isolated and validated sequence of SARS CoV-2.  The N gene sequence codes for the glycoprotein coating that encapsulates and protects the RNA in the virus from nucleases in the body which would break apart the RNA sequence of the virus.

The human immune system does not work by recognition of RNA, DNA or protein sequence.  Both T-cells and antibodies function by a 3D pattern recognition of the conformation (or epitope) of the surface of the protein or nucleotide structure.  Sugar groups on proteins are post translational modifications to the protein, that is, the sugar groups are added after the protein has been created by assembling the coded sequence of amino acids which was specified in the template of the nucleotide sequence.  Small changes in the RNA and DNA sequence code (as small as a single nucleotide, a SNP) can for example move a methyl group (-CH3) from one position on the protein or DNA to another position on the protein or DNA and result in major changes in the 3D surface and 3D structure.  A small change in RNA sequence can change the ability of a test or the immune system to recognize a virus or a spike protein.  Or, that change may be and likely is a post translational change due to an entirely different, untested protein molecule, e.g. a chaperone, with entirely different sequence not found in the PCR test.  Changes in 3D conformation of the protein can make major changes in the binding function of the S spike protein, or the conformation of the glycoprotein coating, or other functions which in turn can result in major changes in infectivity of the virus.  The changes can also prevent or change recognition of the virus by natural or synthetic antibodies, T-cells, B-cells and diagnostic tests.

For example, in this informative recent paper:  “An increasing body of evidence suggests that the tight binding of the S protein to ACE2 is the reason for the high person-to-person transmission rates and severity associated with this disease11,12,45. This is most evident when comparing the SARS 2002–2004 pandemic with the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, with 8,098 cases versus over 16 million cases (26th July 2020) respectively. Our analysis demonstrated that the SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 S proteins have substantial differences in their ACE2 binding motifs (50% identity), which results in an increased number of contacts between the SARS-CoV-2 S protein and ACE2. This correlates with the observed 10- to 20-fold higher affinity of the SARS-CoV-2 S protein for ACE2, compared to SARS-CoV S protein11.” “…the high level of TMPRSS2 similarity between species does not appear to affect viral entry, but instead it is the species-specific differences in the structure of ACE2 that affects SARS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 infectivity.”  Brooke GN, Prischi F. Structural and functional modelling of SARS-CoV-2 entry in animal models. Sci Rep. 2020;10(1):15917. Published 2020 Sep 28. doi:10.1038/s41598-020-72528-z.  : https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7522990/

Recall that the experiments that were underway at the top security U.S. labs, but ruled too dangerous, and were then transferred along with funding to the lab in Wuhan, China were “gain of function” experiments. The function of infectivity is changed by changing the 3D conformation of proteins.  A synthetic sequence created from a computer model could create a protein vaccine for which some people have no immune defense, essentially a poison.

It bothers me that the world is running millions of PCR tests and antibody tests which have not been validated against the RNA from isolated and filtered SARS CoV-2 virus.  At least, I have not been able to find publication of this information.  The CDC document is very concerning.  And now, without validation against isolated, filtered virus using either standard Koch’s or Rivers’ postulates (methods which have been used to validate cause for every other pandemic including SARS CoV-1 from the 2002-2004 pandemic), vaccines are being created based on synthetic sequence designed to cause invivo human cells in the living, healthy patient to produce one or more proteins from the S-spike protein on the virus, but neither this sequence nor the protein it produces has been validated against the nucleotide sequence which codes for the S-spike protein on isolated SARS CoV2.  Billions of dollars are being spent on tests and vaccines which have not been validated against actual SARS CoV-2.  Does it bother you?

Burning movies and books

You may recall that I have not had TV, newspapers, magazines, etc for more that 10 years.

But I watched pieces of the Senate confirmation hearings online.

This jumped out at me: https://video.parler.com/vZ/oY/vZoYSjebu9a3.mp4

I hope you are able to view this very short video.

Why should you and I be concerned about disinformation on the climate?

The following quote is taken from the abstract of a peer reviewed science paper published September, 2020: …”We examine the relationship of global temperature and atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration at the monthly time step, covering the time interval 1980–2019, in which reliable instrumental measurements are available. While both causality directions exist, the results of our study support the hypothesis that the dominant direction is T → CO2. Changes in CO2 follow changes in T by about six months on a monthly scale, or about one year on an annual scale.”  In other words, warming is causing the increase in atmospheric CO2, not humans burning fossil fuels.  This paper confirms the work of several other scientists.  (Full science paper at this link:  https://www.mdpi.com/2413-4155/2/3/72/htm)

Why should you and I be concerned?

“The world spent US$3,660 billion [$3.66 TRILLION] on climate change projects over the eight-year period 2011–2018.  A total of 55% of this sum was spent on solar and wind energy, while only 5% was spent on adapting to the impacts of extreme weather events,” according to recently released calculations by The Center for Environmental Research and Earth Sciences (CERES), a multi-disciplinary and independent research group.  The world spent over $2 Trillion on wind and solar power in the period 2011 to 2018, and only one-tenth that on adapting to extreme weather events. That is counter-productive, upside down investing.  Wasted public resources.

Humans must adapt to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, tropical and winter storms, i.e. weather events.  Fossil fuels are necessary for that adaptation.  Contrary to what has unfortunately become common knowledge, CO2 from fossil fuels does not cause any measurable warming or climate change.  In an essay posted on its web site, CERES goes through some of the problems created by governments attempting to shift from reliable sources of electricity to unreliable solar, wind and other so-called sustainable types of energy. This huge malinvestment is hurting the poor the most. These damages are largely ignored by the misleading statistic: “the social cost of carbon.” https://www.ceres-science.com/index.html

Leftists, the UN, the EU and “The Squad” of Democrats in Congress want far more money and control.  The U.S. House of Representative recently passed a new bill targeting greenhouse gasses and climate change.  The title of the bill is: The Moving Forward Act.  One section of interest is: Subtitle G—Treasury Report on Data From the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program. This section authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to: “[Determine] the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by each taxpayer for the purpose of imposing a fee on such taxpayers with respect to such emissions.”

Meanwhile, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is reportedly planning a 200% increase in electricity rates for the UK.  But experts say that will not be enough to cover the cost of his wind and solar expansion.  If this fraud continues, the same will happen in America and everywhere. https://www.thegwpf.com/boris-johnson-announces-200-rise-in-electricity-prices/

Prof Fritz Vahrenholt, one of the founders of the Germany’s environmental movement who formerly ran Germany’s national energy program, said in an interview last week that the claimed climate catastrophe “is not taking place” and that policymakers are trying to use “panic and fear to get the people to act.” “Vahrenholt also believes electric cars powered by batteries is not a feasible technology, and that other experts quietly call it “a crackpot idea”, and don’t speak up for fear of losing research funding. The vast majority of funding comes from the German government.” “Climate science is exaggerated, filled with fairy tales and the Paris Accord is “already dead.” He says “there is no tipping point” and he expects “civilization to go on for another 7,000 years.”  https://notrickszone.com/2020/10/07/german-prof-climate-science-politicized-exaggerated-filled-with-fantasy-fairy-tales-paris-accord-already-dead/

Mr. Rupert (R.C.E.) Wyndham of Cornwall, UK considers this global warming fraud to be a crisis of morality.  I agree.  Teaching children fear and false information is a form of child abuse, is it not? Mr. Wyndham knows how to turn a phrase and has written multiple letters to those in positions of moral authority.  The following is an excerpt from a letter he addressed to Archbishop Vincent Nichols, Westminster Cathedral, with cc: to Pope Benedict XVI, the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Archbishop of York, the Bishop of London, the Prime Minister, the Abbott of Downside Abbey, and Ed Miliband, MP.

To those who come to “Climate Change” with open eyes (not to mention open minds), it merely constitutes a trend – as unmistakeable as tracks in the snow, the cupidity and mendacity of politicians, the poltroonery of establishment scientists and their journalistic lapdogs or the catastrophist phantasmagoria of anthropogenic global warming pseudo-environmentalists. Furthermore, the perception is strengthened to the point of absolute confirmation by the predictions of dissenting mavericks…

And, dare it be said, for those such as yourself, in the vanguard of so called “faith communities”, who arrogate to themselves the role of moral leadership, this gives rise to serious questions, does it not? Indeed, in many ways, “Climategate” is less about the “science” – which anyway is garbage – than it is about the integrity of the scientific process, an issue of immensely greater ethical significance for all who value truth as well as democratic accountability.  AGW science has been exposed as a fraud, by far the gravest in the entire history of science. The AGW hypothesis itself is no better than a glib and distorted misrepresentation of a 100 year old speculation relating to the so-called Greenhouse Effect allied to invented evidence concocted within the guts of a computer by individuals with a predetermined agenda coupled with huge personal vested interests – financial and otherwise. We now know unequivocally that not just the notorious Mann, Bradley Hughes hockey stick, beloved of AGW propagandists, is a worthless contrivance, but even the very temperature record itself is largely a fiction – maybe entirely. … AGW is a hypothesis that is intellectually so indefensible, so tawdry, so dishonest, so self-serving, so mean spirited, so corrupting that, quite simply, it cannot be espoused with honourable motivation; it has to be the product either of nefarious purpose, of unassailable gullibility or of mental aberration. Any person who describes him/herself as a scientist, who promotes or condones AGW, is no better than an alarmist, a mountebank, a bare faced liar. By virtue of that fact alone he/she is a scoundrel.

That, of course, leaves you in a quandary, does it not? Either you repudiate this ethical obscenity and, in a spirit of Christian repentance, exercise moral authority or you continue to promote it and abrogate moral authority. Although religious leaders often seem to find the concept seductive, what you cannot do is both to wolf your bun and hang on to your penny.

On 3 November I wrote to you in response to your call for a moral crusade on the subject of “climate change”. At the suggestion of Prof. David Bellamy, I sent a copy to The Tablet. From you nothing has been heard – well except second hand, 350 ppmv (Lordy, lordy!). That is no surprise. One gets very used to AGW protagonists seeking the shadows. From The Tablet came what read like rather a startled holding letter, since when nothing. As a New Year resolution, perhaps it could be suggested that you try to be braver, and preach not simply to the converted but debate also with those who might bring to bear a more detached and questioning approach…

I do not live in hope, however.

Yours sincerely

R.C.E. Wyndham

PS The seer of Lambeth Palace, of course, has a real problem. Two thirds of his clergy’s pension fund is tied up in investments founded in this claptrap. Compared to that, down the road what matters a few female or fairy prelates?

(If you enjoyed Mr. Wyndham’s turn of phrase, here is his letter to the head of the Royal Society, the UK’s premier science establishment.  http://joannenova.com.au/2013/04/rupert-wyndham-takes-on-paul-nurse-and-the-royal-society/)

Finally, recently there have been the usual eruptions of summertime pseudo-scientific and media reports that Greenland, the Arctic and Antarctica are melting, etc.  Coincidentally, this past week the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) reported the Greenland ice sheet has never before increased 4 gigatons (Gt) during summer, but it has just done that, citing records that go back to 1981.  The records show that the 4 Gt increase exceeded the mid-August record by over two gigatons.  Keep your ski clothes.  https://electroverse.net/greenland-gains-a-record-smashing-4-gts-of-snow-and-ice/

Whistleblowing video on Bin Laden, Benghazi and Seal Team 6

Amazing whistleblowing video on Bin Laden and Benghazi and murder of Seal Team 6

First published at 06:47 UTC on October 13th, 2020. The second half of this video includes an interview with Allen Perreau (spelling?) which is excellent.

Flashback: One day after Osama bin Laden was killed, Joe Biden publicly outed the Navy Seals, 90+ days later the Taliban shot down a U.S. helicopter killing 15 Seal Team 6 warriors and 23 others Watch >https://twitter.com/i/status/1121604865359265792.

Now these whistleblowers (at the “betrayal” video) are claiming they have evidence that Bin Laden was not killed and Bin Laden and about 100 Al Qaida were moved to Iran before the raid on the Bin Laden’s supposed hide out in Pakistan. The man killed by Seal team 6 was a body double, and the Seals learned that, and Bin Laden’s body was not buried at sea. There is more in this amazing interview…

Video: Tom Klingenstein on Trump 2020: A Man vs. A Movement

https://amgreatness.com/2020/10/01/video-tom-klingenstein-on-trump-2020-a-man-vs-a-movement/

Transcript:

My name is Tom Klingenstein. I am the chair of the board of the Claremont Institute which is a conservative think tank, managing partner of a New York investment firm and playwright.

I wish to make three points. First, Trump is the perfect man for these times, not all times, perhaps not most times, but these times. Second, Republicans are not doing a good job explaining the stakes in this election. They must explain, and this is my third point, that the Democratic Party, which has been taken by its radical wing, is leading a revolution. This makes the coming election the most important one since the election of 1860. Let’s begin there.

Unlike most elections, this one is much more than a contest over particular policies—like health care or taxes. Rather, like the election of 1860, this election is a contest between two competing regimes, or ways of life. Two ways of life that cannot exist peacefully together.

One way of life, I’ll call it “the traditional American way of life,” is based on individual rights, the rule of law, and a shared understanding of the common good. This way of life values hard work, self-reliance, volunteerism, patriotism, and so on.

In this way of life there are no hyphenated Americans. We are all just Americans. Colorblindness is our aspiration.

The other way of life I call multiculturalism. Others call it “identity politics” or “cultural Marxism” or “Intersectionality”.

The multicultural movement, which has taken over the Democratic party, is a revolutionary movement. I do not mean a metaphorical revolution. It is not like a revolution; it is a revolution, an attempt to overthrow the American Founding as President Trump said in his excellent Mt. Rushmore speech. Republicans should say the same thing. Republicans everywhere, at every level, and at every opportunity.

Multiculturalism conceives of society, not as a community of individuals with equal rights but as a collection of cultural identity groups—defined by race, ethnicity, gender, and so forth. According to the multiculturalists, all these identity groups are oppressed by white males.

Their goal is to have each identity group proportionally represented in all institutions of American society. As should be immediately clear, achieving this proportional representation requires a never-ending redistribution of wealth and power from some groups—and not just from whites—to other groups. Such a massive redistribution can only be achieved by a tyrannical government and like in all tyrannies, one where dissenters are silenced.

In order to achieve this proportional representation, the Democrats require not just endless affirmative action but genuine socialism, open borders, unrestricted trade, seizing guns, sanctuary cities, and much more.

The Black Lives Matter/Democrats understand (which Republicans seem not to), that if they are to achieve this policy agenda they must get Americans to change their values, their principles, and the way they understand themselves.

They must get us to believe that national borders and colorblindness are racist; that we are not one culture but many; that the most important thing in our history—the thing around which all else pivots—is slavery. More broadly, the multiculturalists must get us to believe that we are unworthy—not just that we have sinned (which of course we have)—but that we are irredeemably sinful, or, in the language of today, “systemically racist.” And sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic and all the other “ists” and phobias. Simply put, multiculturalism must get us to believe we are bad

This suggests one way to frame the coming election: as a contest between a man, Trump, who believes America is good and a man, Biden, who is controlled by a movement that believes America is bad. I do not think it is any more complicated than that.

For the multiculturalist to change traditional values and principles they must destroy, or radically restructure, the institutions that teach those values and principles. The most important of these institutions is family, but also very important is religion, education (which they have mostly destroyed already) and community life, replacing the latter with government bureaucrats. It is here—in these value-teaching institutions—that we see the underpinnings of the Revolution. This is where the real action is. Republicans seem to be missing in action.

Republicans need to explain that BLM and their Democratic enablers wish to destroy the traditional mother-father family. To substantiate this claim, Republicans have only to point to the BLM mission statement. The mission statement, written by avowed Marxists, also lets us know that BLM holds transgenderism to be the burning issue of our time.

Republicans must also explain that religion, because it teaches American values, is also on the chopping block.

Republicans also must make American see that the taking down of statues is not about removing a few confederate generals; it’s about destroying America’s past, as is the New York Times 1619 Project. The rioters, and their BLM-Democrats enablers, are tearing down the statues even of people like Frederick Douglass who fought against slavery. This is not an accident. It is not collateral damage. Frederick Douglass was a great American. He believed that America in her soul was not racist. He believed in hard work and self-reliance. And because of his embrace of American values the BLM-Democrats have to get rid of him.

They must also get rid of Abraham Lincoln, for it is he who best explains what we should aspire to. And it is he who is the best defender of the American Founding. In one sense, this election is a referendum on the Founding. Whether America was founded in 1619, as the BLM-Democrats contend, or, in 1776 as Lincoln, and, until recently, all Americans believed.

Republicans must make more of political correctness and cancel culture, which, as we have seen so vividly of late, brutally punishes apostates.

Who does Twitter think it is, censoring an American president? Republicans simply cannot stand for that.

And Republicans must explain, as I earlier explained, that the multiculturalists are trying to get us to believe that we are systemically racist so that we will surrender to their policy agenda. This too must not be allowed to stand. The American people need to hear what they know in their hearts: they are not racists. Republicans should stand up and say, “no, America is not racist.” Period.

If Americans are systemically anything, it is a systemic commitment to freedom and equal rights for all.

Perhaps most importantly, Republicans must say over and over that America is “incredible,” to use President Trump’s adjective of choice. They must remind the American people that, as a friend of mine is fond of saying, America has brought more freedom and more prosperity to more people than any country in the history of mankind. Most Americans know this, but this too they need to hear from their leaders.

***

In order to make the case that the Democrats are leading a revolution, Republicans must delegitimize Black Lives Matter—the organization, of course, not the sentiment. To BLM and their Democratic enablers, Republicans must say: “Absolutely, black lives matter. They just don’t matter to you. You don’t care about Mr. Floyd, the black businesses you have destroyed, the blacks who are getting killed because you have forced the police to back off. You’re here for destruction. Not black lives, not any lives.”

After delegitimizing Black Lives Matter, the next step for Republicans is to tie BLM’s revolutionary agenda around the necks of Democrats.

The BLM wing of the Democratic party has captured the entire party. Run-of-the-mill Democrats may not agree with all of the BLM agenda but they go-along, so they might as well agree. Joe Biden is one of the go-along Democrats.

So do not expect all Democrats to sing the BLM tune; even so, most will kneel before them.

Listen to Biden. On one occasion Biden said, “Let’s be clear, transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time.” A year ago, Biden may not have even known what transgenderism is. He does not seem to know it, but he has been radicalized.

Biden now regularly talks about “systemic” racism. On one occasion Biden said, though without evidence, there is “absolutely systemic racism in law enforcement.” “[But] it’s not just in law enforcement,” he continued, “it’s across the board. It’s in housing, it’s in education . . . It’s in everything we do.”

He is wrong on every count, but if indeed he believes that racism is in “everything we do,” that it is systemic, then he believes, whether he admits or not, that the system must be overturned. Biden does not realize it, but he is calling for the overthrow of the American way of life. I presume that is not his intent, but when the words he is reading off his BLM teleprompter get translated into policy, that will be the consequence — the destruction of the American way of life.

Biden demurs. There is nothing to fear from Biden says Biden: “Do I look like a radical socialist with a soft spot for rioters?” No, he does not, but what he does look like is a sap.

Republicans must make it clear that these are the “Biden riots.”

***

This brings me to my last point: Trump. I know President Trump has many faults. I myself sometimes cringe listening to him. Sometimes he is his own worst enemy. He is a braggart, often misinformed, petty, sometimes even vengeful. And more.

And yet, we are very lucky to have him. I am almost prepared to say that having him is Providential. How else to explain that we find ourselves with this most unusual, most unpresidential man who has just the attributes most needed for this moment. At any other time, he might well have been a bad president. But in these times—these revolutionary times—he is the best president we could have had.

He has the indispensable attribute of a leader: courage. As a leader must, he goes where others are afraid to go. And he has common sense, which means he generally wants to go to the right place.

Above all else, and above anyone else, Trump is committed to America. He is unreservedly, unquestionably pro-America. He feels no guilt for America’s past. He makes no apologies. He concedes nothing. These may not always be the attributes one wants in a President, but in this day of woke guilt they are the most essential things. And Trump has unlimited confidence in America. In this time of national doubt, this too is just what the doctor ordered. He thinks our culture is “incredible” and that’s the way he wants to keep it.

Trump not only thinks America is incredible, he knows we are in a fight for our lives.

And despite what one hears ad nauseum from the Democrats, Trump is perhaps among the least racist presidents we have ever had. Trump is not defending the white way of life; he is defending the American way of life, a colorblind way of life which is open to anyone who is willing to embrace it.

If we want to save our country, then we should support him—unequivocally. I am. I think this election is that important, and I think Trump is that good. I hope you agree.

Remember, Trump versus Biden is the choice between a man who believes America is good and a man who is controlled by a movement which believes America is bad.

Thank you very much.
