Whom did the communists save from oppression? A re-blog.

I’m just glad someone else wrote this, because the backlash of uproar is going to be vicious. The truth about Lenin is going to sting like a bitch and there are those who will not wish to recognize the truth, no matter how obvious it is. My own view of Lenin is not something I can share with socialists or communists – they see Lenin through rose tinted glasses, just as they see the slaughter of Russian peasants as perfectly justifiable because they were enemies of the revolution and therefore the people. This kind of thinking leaves you with a simple but very basic question. If the “peasants” did not want Lenin’s Bolsheviks or his indoctrination, who were the people that Lenin was “saving”. Lenin’s Red Terror massacred tens of thousands of peasants who burned their crops in defiance of collectivization, so who exactly was being “freed” from “oppression”? As…
